Marty Whiteman of Auckland, New Zealand recently celebrated a 'significant' birthday in one of the best ways we could imagine; by climbing several iconic alpine cols with a group of cycling friends. Climbs included the Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Glandon and of course, l'Aple d'Huez (twice apparently!). Good on you Marty – a fantastic way to celebrate indeed.
